Vince Davero, who recently completed his junior year at Downers Grove North High in Illinois, placed second in the men's 17-18 division triple jump final with a wind-legal performance of 47-3.75 (14.42m) in the fifth round at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
